This is the Peak District's most photographed ridge, and the full horseshoe earns every shot: up the stone steps to Mam Tor's summit, along the crest past Hollins Cross and Back Tor, and out to Lose Hill before dropping back into Castleton. Clear days give you Kinder Scout one side and the Hope Valley the other.
